Having the opportunity to play at the concert for mental health - Music That Heals at Elixir Music Bar recently was a great way to conclude Mental Health Week with many local artists sharing inspiring songs, stories and messages in support of mental health awareness.

A well attended, well organised event run by Talitha Jae and compered by Talitha's dad, Terry. This fundraiser was in support of Kick On, a local suicide prevention charity and Listen Up Music an Australian music and mental health charity. On the day, the concert was interpreted into sign language.

Entry was by donation and prizes were raffled with many lucky winners. The event was held in the intimate concert space at Elixir Music Bar. It is hoped that this event may become an annual concert in its continued support for mental health awareness.

The performer announcement for this event included: Danielle Davis, Abi Muir, John Land, Narelle Whitla, Julia Starr, Eli, Talitha Jae, Robert Cini, Shirley Lynn, Andrew Brasset and Bobby Maguire.
