Elixir Music Bar in Abbott Street Cairns is a venue that supports live music with music happening in this quaint intimate venue most nights of the week. Such a pleasure to play recently - to do a selection of song originals and cover songs.

Also on stage on the night were Wind and Wood - husband and wife duo, well known to Elixir Bar and other venue audiences around Cairns with the featured sounds of flute and acoustic guitar.

For the night's finale, Shirley joined Morag and Trevor for the last song of the night - a Neil Young classic, "Comes a Time".

Joined by friends on the night and people who stayed to enjoy the music, there were some celebratory drinks as people were entertained by some Irish dancing too. A fun time.
