Local North Queensland singer songwriter "Shirley Lynn" was born on the Atherton Tablelands and hails from Clifton Beach near Cairns where she has become more familiar in the past few years playing, writing and creating music to share with others.

"Music has always been close to my heart. It's a passion and an everyday staple. It's often my guitar I reach for first thing in the morning to play a song, revisit a song in the making or begin creating a new one."

Enthusiastic about playing original tunes or covering songs that people are familiar with, Shirl has a broad repertoire of tunes to select from to shape up set lists. As an entertainer she has resurfaced in North Queensland in more recent years while having gained experience sometime back as a solo entertainer in and around the Atherton Tablelands playing in hotels, restaurants, local functions and venues there.

Shirl plays in "Silktones" duo and in the band, "Blue Tonic" both renowned for music variety from seasoned performers with "home grown" flavours to boot.
