Each of the six bands competing... in the final will receive an automatic paid slot on next years festival as well. There is also a people's choice vote, as well as a ticket to the show each heat.
Judges include representatives from Time Out and Zinc radio.
Starting time is 1.30 p.m with the first round of heats kicking off on Sunday June 2.
We still have a few slots left so if you are a duo or band and want to get involved give Kris Peters a call at the Railway Hotel on 40511700.
For further information call the hotel but this is a great exposure for a local band to show their wares to a large audience.
All musical genres are encouraged to come for a crack or just come down to check out some of the amazing talent we have here in Cairns and surrounding areas.
Just another chapter in the Rockin' the Railway sessions!!
